Charity is an important feature of our club, close to the hearts of our members

We currently partner with two organisations;

MARIAs WORLD FOUNDATION

We support Maria’s World Foundation and the unique project “A Day with Hot Lunch”.
We created this program to be able to serve 120 portions of hot lunch, once a month, to 120 people in need. Our members regularly help with the food preparation, packaging, sorting, and delivery of food throughout the city to people in need.
 
The lunch is prepared at the labor training center (Training Kitchen) of Maria’s World Foundation where persons with intellectual difficulties are mentored and trained with skills to prepare their integration into an active and working part of society. More than that, these skills will enhance their confidence, self-esteem, and resilience in the long run.

Our unique project is called "A Day  with Hot Lunch"

 In 2022 SEWA was able to provide 120 hot lunches to needy people during the months of April, May, June, and October. The October lunch was financed by Intercontinental Hotel Sofia

In 2023 we continued to support the project to the whole year thanks to funds raised through the Christmas Charity Event. In all 1440 lunches were distributed by 36 volunteers during the year.

We look forward to continuing our strong collaboration with this organisation and are looking for sponsors.

Marias World Foundation

TABITHA FOUNDATION Tabitha Foundation is also a long-term partner of our association. The foundation helps underprivileged children, adolescents, and old people. We are supporting them with money, food, wood for heating, clothes, and other goods.
