SEWA is a volunteer organisation and we have more than 60 members, representing over 20 countries.

With the offer of our activities to choose from, we know that you will find interesting things to do, make new friends, find help and support and above all have fun.

SEWA Constitution

The SEWA constitution is a legal document, which provides you with the fundamental principles and rules for the daily running and management of our club.

This is a brief summary of the main points.

• Sofia Expat Women's Association is an organization for performing activities for the private benefit.
• There a two types of membership: "Regular member" and  "Friend of SEWA".
  To prevent one nationality from dominating, we have a "Regular member" limit of 15% for each nationality.
  After one nationality reaches this 15%, further members are accepted as a "Friend of SEWA".
  The only difference between a "regular member" and a "Friend of SEWA" is that "Friends of SEWA" have no right to vote and are not allowed to canditate as a board member.
