Visit the Surva Festival in Pernik on Saturday 27th January 2024

“Surva” (International Masquerade Festival)  is held in the town of Pernik, just 30 km from Sofia during the last weekend of January. It is considered the biggest event of this type on the Balkan Peninsula and attracts large crowds. Going on your own can be quite daunting, so we have arranged a mini bus and guide just for us ( and members of our family) to take us to this spectacular event. Witness ancient Bulgarian customs including Kukerite and Survakari. The spectacular masks and costumes never fail to impress. 

Departure from Sofia at 09:30 (sharp) 

Meeting point: Hit Mladost 3 (Metro Line 1 to Business Park, stop Alexander Teodorov Balan - one before Business Park)

Return to Sofia around 16:00

Price per person: 50 leva  (no shows must be paid)
