BBQ in Roman ( Complex For Social Services for Children And Families)

Tabitha Bulgaria Foundation Annual BBQ at the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families ( orphanage ) in Roman                                                                 Tuesday 29 July 2025 ( 10:00 - 16.30 )

Dear Ladies,                                                                                                                                                            You are invited to join the BBQ  at the Roman orphanage ( 125 km NE of  Sofia ),      30 children aged 4-17 and a Day Care Centre for children with disabilities - 20 children.

Every summer since 2000 Tabitha Bulgaria Foundation have been organising a BBQ  in the social institution in Roman.                                                                                              

The BBQ is an opportunity to spend a day with the underprivileged children from the institution and pay them special attention. There will also be a small group of young volunteers from Holland, who are helping the social home every summer.

Over the years Tabitha has supported the BBQ at the orphanage, together with the IWC and then SEWA.                                                                                                                 Projects supported : Renovations in the home, educational and vocational programs, university scholarships, Baba Program.                                                                        

Meeting Point : at Hit Car Park ( Mladost ) at 10:00                                                   Expected time of return : about 16:30 - 17:00.                                                                                 Transport : Tabitha’s van ( 6 seats available ) plus carpooling ( as required )

Please Note :                                                                                                                                                           We kindly request the participants to bring some dishes, cakes, sweets, fruits, soft drinks, quiches, salads, toys, balls etc. Tabitha Foundation and the Dutch volunteers will provide the BBQ.
